| WELCOME to my page dedicated to the colour and style of the Mid-20th Century. Typically this modern era represents the years from roughly 1945 to 1975 and is looked back at now as a distinctive design movement. |
301 Cypress Drive embodies everything I love about mid-century architecture. Architectural rendering is part of my day to
renderings to be works of art, especially ones from an era where house design was so unique and appealing.
Architects would often sketch a rendering of their house design as a cover page for the set of blueprints they provided to their
client, sometimes as a normal blueline print, but often as a reverse print, like the one above, where the lines show up as white
on a dark blue background, for a more dramatic effect. The coffee rings refer to the utilitarian purpose of these overlooked
works of art. I will be adding to this series as I have time to design more house styles.

Holiday Series - This series was inspired by a commission I received to
create street banners for the city of Penticton, British Columbia. Penticton is a
resort town situated between two lakes ( Skaha and Okanagan lakes) with
coral-coloured beaches and a Mid-century atmosphere. . . a step back in time.
